Please Read the Rules Carefully Before Posting In Our Community Forum.

Posting Guidelines & Rules on Appropriate Behavior

  1. Due to the nature of the forum, please use English. If you’d like to use a different language (by way of an external link, for example), consider providing a translation of the relevant portion in your topic/reply. It could even be a machine translation (Google Translate, for example), if the point comes across correctly.
  2.  Community.mypatriotsnetwork.com (community) is a Forum, not a social media site and not a personal blogging platform. Use of this forum is for discussion, organizing, and dissemination of ideas, information, resources and solutions to the problems identified by the Forum creators and members. With that in mind, please read the rest of our terms of service and posting guidelines.
  3. Stick to the topic when responding to posts created by others.
  4. When creating your own post in the form of a topic, please choose the appropriate forum and give it a clear and concise title.
  5. Before creating a new topic, or asking a new question, please consider using the Search function to see whether it has already been addressed. If it has, post your new topic only if the previous thread has already been closed. Note that if you believe that your topic is related to an existing one but with significant differences, feel free to create the new topic (but make sure to address the difference).
  6. This is primarily a research forum, so when citing or referring to an external source, be sure to provide a link or complete reference to that source for others to access/verify it. It should go without saying that plagiarism is not tolerated; do try and cite sources whenever posting an opinion that is not your own.
  7. This is a forum for our members, so please consider very carefully before posting your own personal information. Posting personal information of anyone else is a major violation of the rules of conduct for this forum and will result in the deletion of the topic/reply and a single warning; a second violation will result in a permanent ban of posting and your forum account will change to “read only” status.
  8. No Spam or Advertising of any kind is allowed within the forum by members.
  9. Using a forum for self-promotion or agenda promotion is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
  10. Do not post copyright-infringing material.
  11. Be aware of what is generally and traditionally believed “offensive”.  We use Webster’s definition of the terms used to describe behavior that violates this policy and terms of service.
  12. Do not post offensive comments, articles or images.
  13. Do not cross post questions.
  14. Do not PM users asking for help.
  15. Be respectful towards other forum members.
  16. Do not be aggressive, abusive or harassing toward others in the forum or via Private Messaging (PM).
  17. Do not post content that is sexual, hateful, racist, homophobic, sexist, provocative, or vulgar in content.
  18. External sources should always be used with proper reference that can be accessed and verified. While open-access links are always preferred, links to paywalled sources (such as closed journals) may be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.
  19. Do not reveal anyone’s identity by posting their personal information (or connecting personal information posted in separate places in a manner that reveals the person’s identity) unless that information has already been revealed publicly by that person on the forum.
  20. Just utilize common-sense rules of being nice; this is a forum for the discussion of intelligent and truthful topics. We expect all our participants to respect one another. This is not a topic war ground.
  21. This is our forum we have created for knowledge building and to share research about topics of concern to Americans and others. As such we have the final say as to what violates our TOS and the final say over membership and the revocation of membership privileges.
  22. This is not a social media such as FB, Twitter, and others. This forum is investigative in nature and should be treated as such. We will not allow social media type posting. All material will be removed, and those members will also have their profile status changed or removed from the forum.
  23. Absolutely no serial posting will be tolerated. Post on your topics and politely on others, replicating posts on forum will be considered serial posting and will not be tolerated.
  24. This community is open to all peaceful, respectful, polite individuals who continue to abide by our rules.

Rights of Moderators

Considering the sensitive subject of the forum – that is, intelligence and sensitive research– it is only appropriate for moderators to have the ability to make sure that all forum rules are being followed. With this said, moderators can, at their own discretion:

    1. Close any topics or forums
    2. Edit topics or replies (but only by clearly displaying their edits)
    3. Move topics or replies to the appropriate topic/forum, if necessary
    4. Delete topics or replies
    5. Take action necessary to keep the forum as intended and has the right to cite violators, remove accounts, or change account status.

Consequences of Breaking the Rules

Breaking the rules of appropriate behavior will have the following consequences:

    1. Minor infractions will get a warning; unless the post is edited to comply with the rules within 24 hours of the warning, it will be deleted.
    2. Repeated minor infractions will result in a temporary ban or, at the discretion of the moderator, a permanent ban or status change.
    3. Major infractions, such as posting personal information or behavior deemed completely unacceptable by the moderator, will get a temporary ban; or, at the discretion of the moderator, a permanent ban or profile status change to only being able to read material and will no longer be allowed to post.
    4. We (MPN) has the final say as to what is posted and the final say over memberships and revocation of membership privileges.
